La Pallacanestro Trieste, da sempre impegnata nell’ambito sociale cittadino, rilancia le sue attività di attenzione al territorio grazie all’impegno del neonato dipartimento dedicato al “Community & Fan Engagement”.
La capacità di emozionare e di regalare momenti indimenticabili che vanno al di là dello sport, sono sempre stati parte del DNA di questa squadra, e in questo contesto la disponibilità dei giocatori biancorossi non è mai venuta meno e si rinnova anche quest’anno.
Si è tenuto nella sala stampa del PalaTrieste il primo incontro tra la squadra di coach Christian e le rappresentanti del Centro Servizi Volontariato del Friuli Venezia Giulia: Francesca Macuz (coordinatrice servizio promozione volontariato FVG) e Francesca de Luca (operatrice servizio promozione volontariato FVG) hanno sottoposto ai giocatori dei questionari per meglio capire quali potrebbero essere le attività di promozione sociale e volontariato nelle quali mettere a disposizione le proprie qualità.
“Vogliamo aprirci sempre di più al mondo del sociale e del volontariato – le parole di Mariabeatrice Cavarretta, responsabile del dipartimento di Fan & Community Engagement biancorosso – costruendo insieme alle realtà che già operano sul territorio una serie di attività che ci permettano di rinsaldare il legame tra la squadra e la città. Deve trattarsi di un processo strutturato, duraturo e che metta al centro le persone. Abbiamo una grande ricchezza, che è quella di rappresentare una società storica che Trieste ama da sempre. Vogliamo restituire questo amore a chi ne ha più bisogno”.
Questo primo incontro fa parte dunque di un processo, che vedrà i giocatori biancorossi impegnati in attività sociali nei prossimi mesi e che saranno comunicate dalla società, di concerto con le realtà del territorio coinvolte.

The first meeting between Coach Christian’s team and representatives from the Volunteer Services Center of Friuli Venezia Giulia took place in the press room of PalaTrieste. Francesca Macuz (Coordinator of Volunteer Promotion Service in FVG) and Francesca de Luca (Operator of Volunteer Promotion Service in FVG) presented questionnaires to the players to better understand the social and volunteer activities where they could contribute their skills.
“We want to open ourselves more and more to the world of social and volunteer work”, said Mariabeatrice Cavarretta, Head of the Fan & Community Engagement department. “Together with existing organizations in the community, we aim to build a series of activities that strengthen the bond between the team and the city. It should be a structured and enduring process that puts people at the center. We have a great asset, representing a historic society that Trieste has always loved. We want to give back this love to those who need it most”.
This initial meeting is part of an ongoing process, where the “Biancorossi” players will be involved in social activities in the coming months. These activities will be communicated by the organization in collaboration with local entities.
