Sono intervenuti oggi dalla sala stampa del PalaTrieste Michele Ruzzier e Stefano Bossi. Insieme a loro il GM della Pallacanestro Trieste Michael Arcieri e coach Jamion Christian.
A prendere per primo la parola Mike Arcieri: “Penso sia importante dare voce ai giocatori, specialmente oggi a Michele e Stefano che hanno deciso di rimanere qui a Trieste. Così come è importante che i nostri tifosi possano ascoltare e vivere il legame che squadra e società hanno con loro”.
“Quando con Michael ci siamo confrontati sulla costruzione del roster abbiamo parlato subito di Bossi e Ruzzier: la loro fame e il loro talento, oltre alla conoscenza del campionato e della città, sono valori fondamentali per questa squadra”, ha dichiarato coach Christian.
Stefano Bossi ha rimarcato la sua voglia di continuare la sua esperienza a Trieste: “L’idea di tornare a Trieste è nata anche per un senso di dovere verso una città che ci ha dato molto. È una stagione importante in cui vogliamo riscattarci, ma non dobbiamo commettere l’errore di avere presunzione e autosabotarci”.
Della stessa idea Michele Ruzzier: “Sono molto contento di essere qui. La società mi ha voluto fortemente e mi ha fatto sentire importante per questi colori e questa città. Il progetto della società e le idee del coach, che mi chiamava in vacanza per spiegarmi la sua visione del basket, sono stati fattori importanti nella decisione di rimanere. Sono qui super motivato per riscattare una retrocessione dolorosa. Per questo, insieme ai mei compagni, darò il massimo ogni giorno”.

From the press room of PalaTrieste this afternoon Michele Ruzzier and Stefano Bossi addressed the media. Alongside them were the General Manager of Pallacanestro Trieste, Michael Arcieri, and coach Jamion Christian.
Taking the floor first, Mike Arcieri said, “I think it’s important to give voice to the players, especially today to Michele and Stefano, who have decided to stay here in Trieste. Just as important is for our fans to be able to hear and experience the bond that the team and the organization have with them”.
“When Michael and I discussed roster construction, we immediately talked about Bossi and Ruzzier: their hunger and talent, along with their understanding of the league and the city, are fundamental values for this team”, Coach Christian declared.
Stefano Bossi emphasized his desire to continue his experience in Trieste: “The idea of coming back to Trieste also arose from a sense of duty towards a city that has given us so much. This is an important season in which we want to redeem ourselves, but we mustn’t make the mistake of being presumptuous and sabotaging ourselves”.
Michele Ruzzier shared the same sentiment: “I’m very happy to be here. The club wanted me strongly and made me feel important for these colors and this city. The club’s project and the coach’s ideas, who even called me during vacation to explain his basketball vision, were important factors in my decision to stay. I’m here, highly motivated to redeem a painful relegation. That’s why, together with my teammates, I will give my all every day”.
